A Bit About Me

Douglas Uchenna MacDonald is a committed Documentarian, Editor, Writer, Community Engager, and Reader! Born in Boston, he has since lived in Montreal, Toronto, Providence, and Spain. Douglas has an undergraduate degree from Concordia University in Creative Writing and a Master’s of Fine Arts in Documentary Media from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Douglas’ art explores topics such as national identity, the intersection of race and national myth, and community engagement. Douglas has a thirst for artistic creation and collaboration but his favorite thing to do will always be blasting tunes in the kitchen and cooking a meal for those he loves!
